Snitch tickets
Submitted by Kevin Litten on Sat, 03/28/2009 - 19:52.I recently became aware of what are being called "snitch tickets." These are tickets issued from automated red light and speed cameras. The notices are issued by the law enforcement agency, not the court system. They provide no details on a court hearing, because there is not court hearing. Most tickets provide three avenues
1. Pay the ticket
2. Provide documentation that your car or plates were reported stolen.
3. Go to a hearing. This hearing is with the officer and the lawyer hired by the police station. First, you pay bond in the amount of the ticket, then you get your appearance date.

NRA Endorses McCain
Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 10/19/2008 - 10:54.I just heard a radio ad from the NRA attacking Barack Obama for his stance on guns. What is more interesting is the fact that their endorsed candidate, John McCain, has received an F- rating from the Gun Owners of America, and the fact that McCain has previously spoken out against the NRA while Libertarian candidate Bob Barr has previously received an A+ rating from the NRA.
